The well known and renowned actor Jackie Earle Haley will act as ionic slasher Freddie Kruegner, which was originally acted by Robert England in the movie "A Nightmare" in 1984.
Actually the producer Brad Fuller was very much interested in doing the movie with Haley as he is much enthusiastic towards dread movies and more over he knows exactly how Freddy Kruegnar acted in the original movie.So the producer strongly believes that only Haley can bring out the originality of the movie and make success.
In fact,the story became so popular that it could generate eight films and two TV serials and even they are very famous now. The shooting will start in Chicago by next month and they are hoping that they can finish the shooting by April 2010 and can release the movie by that time.
Haley had signed another movie also namely "Shutter Island" which is going to be directed by Martin Scorsese.
